Small silhouette of Doug Wolkon WELCOME TO PLURANOMICS, THE ECONOMICS OF MANY.

Equity Economics

When I think of Equity, I think of the Equity in a home, real estate or a business, after deducting debt or margin. I think of Equity as being the opposite of debt; renewable energy is Equity, as is Free Time. In any case, it is always fiercely competitive to get any kind of Equity because Equity is good, just like debt is bad. But, I also think of fairness or evenhandedness when I think of Equity, as in equitable; you know, you get what you earn and once you earn it, only you figure out how to best use it. When I think of Equity, I think of you!

When I think of Economics, I think of Human Nature, everything and anything as it relates to you. I think of the balance or imbalance of the economy; your education and health are Economics, as well as the air you breathe and the water you drink. When I think of Economics I think of the level of good or bad energy; Economics means choice, or lack there of. Economics protects you and comforts you, but can also make you hungry or sick. Economics helps put a smile on your face. Economics is all about communication and human innovation! When I think of Economics, again I think of you!
